To finalise my showreel, I spent time carefully reviewing each part making sure I was truly happy with the layout the pacing and how everything came together. I wanted my showreel to not only come across professional, but also a genuine reflection of my creative style and growth. I paid attention to the fonts I had chosen making sure they match the tone of the work and remained consistent throughout as even small details can have a big impact on how a project is perceived. After a few final tweaks, I reached a point where I felt confident that my showreel fully represented the work I wanted to showcase.
Uploading it to my YouTube channel felt like a big moment seeing it live a sense of achievement after all the effort that had gone into planning creating an editing it. I made sure video description and thumbnail all polished first impressions are so important. once the show was uploaded, I linked it to my website taking extra care to place it where it would be easily accessible and clearly visible to visitors. I also tested the website across different devices and browsers to make sure the share was working smoothly everywhere because I wanted to create the best possible experience for anyone for my work.
Looking back the process of finalising uploading my taught me a lot about the importance of small details, presentation and accessibility. It felt really rewarding to see the final result and I created something not only showcase my skills but also reflects the journey I’ve been on so far.
